We are seeking Traffic Management professionals to join NZ Labour Hire Group as a Traffic Management TTM, TMO, STMS in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. This is for the upcoming seasonal period but will be full-time hours offering the opportunity to work on diverse projects across the region, managing traffic flow and ensuring public safety on construction sites, roadworks, and special events. This is a hands-on position that requires both technical knowledge and strong communication skills to work effectively in fast-paced environments. Key responsibilities Implementing and managing traffic management plans Setting up, monitoring, and dismantling traffic control devices including signs, cones, barriers, and temporary traffic signals Directing traffic safely around work sites, events, and hazards using clear hand signals and communication Conducting site assessments and liaising with project managers to understand traffic management requirements Maintaining accurate records and documentation of traffic management activities and incidents Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and other relevant legislation Communicating effectively with contractors, site supervisors, and the public to maintain safe working conditions Responding promptly to changing site conditions and adjusting traffic management strategies as needed Participating in toolbox meetings and site inductions as required What we're looking for Current and valid Traffic Management certification (TTM, TMO, or STMS qualification) Can pass a pre-employment urine drug test Full class 1 (clean) drivers licence is advantageous Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in team environments Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and work in outdoor conditions for extended periods Ability to follow instructions precisely and adhere to safety protocols at all times Valid New Zealand work visa or citizenship What we offer Competitive hourly rates and regular full-time work opportunities Exposure to varied projects across the Tauranga and Bay of Plenty region A collaborative workplace culture that values safety, reliability, and professional conduct Opportunities for career progression within NZ Labour Hire Group #J-18808-Ljbffr
