Food Production Assistant - Night Shift 8PM - 5/6 AM - MUST be available to work Saturday night shift We are looking for Casual staff who may be available on call to cover sick leave or annual leave periods. We may be able to offer part-time work, specifically Saturday and Monday night shift. There may be an opportunity in the future for full-time work depending on business growth or position availability. Must be available to work night shift from 8:00pm to 5:00/6:00am . An opportunity has become available for an energetic, reliable, and motivated Food Production Assistant to join our busy food manufacturing team on the night shift . This is a hands-on role within our fast-paced production environment, where you will be involved in preparing, assembling, packing, labelling and checking a wide range of food products to ensure they meet our quality and food safety standards. We are particularly looking for someone who is keen to learn, grow, and develop within the business . This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who may be interested in progressing into leadership or supervisory responsibilities in the future . Key responsibilities include: Preparing ingredients and products for daily production Assembling sandwiches, wraps, sushi, and other ready-to-eat products Packing, labelling, and checking finished products Ensuring products meet quality and presentation standards Following food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures at all times Completing required production and quality documentation Assisting with stock rotation and ingredient handling Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area Supporting end-of-shift cleaning and shutdown duties Working efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets Following health and safety procedures in the production environment Our ideal candidate will have: A positive attitude and willingness to learn Desire to grow and develop within their role Interest in future leadership opportunities Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, hospitality, kitchen, or FMCG (preferred but not essential) Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality products Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliability and punctuality Ability to work well within a team Good level of physical fitness and ability to lift products safely Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (preferred) To ensure you succeed, you’ll join a supportive team who are committed to their work and the business.
