We are seeking a Commercial Manager to join Solomon Group in Manurewa, Auckland. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in driving business performance, commercial success, and operational excellence across our organisation. We need a person who can identify issues, roll up their sleeves, and work alongside teams to find solutions and keep the business moving forward. Proven experience in a commercial management, business management, operations, or leadership role. Strong understanding of commercial principles, contract management, and business development practices. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute commercial strategies that drive measurable business results. Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with the ability to build and maintain key stakeholder partnerships. Strong analytical and financial acumen, including proficiency with financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial performance metrics. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation. Proven leadership capability and ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments. A proactive problem‑solver who takes ownership and follows through on outcomes. Comfortable switching between strategic planning and day‑to‑day operational support as business needs require. Someone who builds strong relationships quickly and works effectively with people at all levels of the organisation. A trusted advisor and support to managers and teams, helping remove roadblocks and improve performance. Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. A collaborative leader who brings people together and creates positive working relationships across the business. Resilient, approachable, and able to navigate challenging situations with professionalism and sound judgement. Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, management, or a related discipline is preferred.
