Whanganui City College – Wanganui, North Island Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Principal The Whanganui City College (WCC) Board invites applications from experienced secondary school principals with a proven record of visionary and resilient change leadership. The new WCC tumuaki will be tasked with leading a new chapter of educational improvement and growth. Whanganui City College is under statutory intervention with a Limited Statutory Manager (LSM) and, therefore, a number of staff and systems reviews have been (or will be) completed to assist the board and the new tumuaki. This is a legacy opportunity for a tumuaki with a proven track record of effectively engaging with iwi and stakeholders to achieve a shared purpose to sustainably raise achievement in their previous school(s).
