Te tīma | The team Parliament IT is on a journey to deliver exceptional, customer-centred digital services across the Parliamentary environment. The Customer Experience team plays a critical role in ensuring technology is easy to use, well supported, and delivers real value to Parliament's people. As the Digital Adoption Specialist, you'll work closely with business units, product owners, service managers and technical teams to help people adopt and effectively use digital tools and services. You'll be the connection between user needs and technology solutions, helping ensure digital change is practical, valuable and sustainable. This is a highly collaborative environment where relationship building, continuous improvement and customer focus are key to success. Mō te tūnga | About the role This newly defined role sits within Parliament IT's Customer Experience function and is responsible for helping customers get the most from digital tools, systems and services. Combining digital adoption, business analysis, training, process improvement and user experience work, you'll help create positive, lasting change across Parliamentary Service. Drive adoption and effective use of digital tools, services and AI-enabled technologies. Develop and deliver user guidance, training programmes, communications and enablement resources. Partner with business areas to understand workflows, challenges and opportunities for improvement. Analyse business processes and recommend practical solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness and user outcomes. Gather and interpret user requirements, feedback and insights to inform service design and continuous improvement. Lead cyber awareness and user education activities in partnership with digital security specialists. Create and maintain knowledge articles, FAQs, procedures and troubleshooting guides. Coordinate classroom, online and one-to-one training for end users and stakeholders. Support the successful introduction of new systems and services by assessing transition readiness and adoption requirements. Build strong relationships across Parliamentary Service, the Office of the Clerk, Parliament IT teams and external partners. Tō kete | What you will bring to the role We're interested in hearing from people who bring experience in digital adoption, business analysis, training, change enablement, user experience or process improvement within a large and complex environment. Ideally, you'll have: Experience driving adoption and effective use of digital tools, services and AI technologies. Strong business process analysis and improvement capability. Experience gathering user requirements and translating insights into practical solutions. The ability to develop engaging training, guidance, documentation and knowledge resources. An understanding of cyber awareness programmes and promoting safe digital behaviours. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences. A customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering practical outcomes. The ability to work confidently in complex and evolving environments. Experience influencing others and supporting change across multiple business areas. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft 365 skills, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint. A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience. Relevant qualifications in change management, business analysis or related disciplines would be advantageous. Please note: To be considered for this position you must be a New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident and able to obtain and maintain a NZ Government National Security clearance at CONFIDENTIAL level.
