About the Role Our Health Care Assistants support the healthcare teams and service activities in wards/units ensuring service delivery is always maintained. About the Team/Service/ Location We are currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and are seeking exceptional Health Care Assistants to join our team. These roles will be based at North Shore Hospital. You will work closely with our Registered Nurses in a supportive environment, helping deliver high-quality care and making a meaningful difference for patients. About you To ensure we maintain our quality of care and support we require a Health Care Assistant who has the following qualities: Good command of oral and written English Knowledge and basic computer skills Able to work under direction and seeks guidance and supervision Good communication skills and customer service practices Committed to excellence in service delivery A Minimum of NZQA Level 3 National Certificate or similar Current CPR / First Aid Certificate Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant New Zealand Resident of Citizenship Working at Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
