The Role We’re looking for a switched‑on, analytical and highly organised Junior Merchandise Planner to join our Planning team. You’ll support teams across all our divisions with reporting, forecasting, product data and system accuracy. This is a varied, hands‑on role for someone who enjoys working with numbers and systems, has a sharp eye for detail and is happy to jump in wherever needed. We’re open to a recent graduate in finance, accounting, business, analytics or a related field , or someone with around 2–3 years’ experience looking to build broader commercial and analytical experience. What You’ll Be Doing Preparing and maintaining weekly and monthly reports using Excel, Qlik and other reporting tools Supporting the preparation and maintenance of forecast sheets Updating and maintaining accurate product and planning information across systems including Accredo, NuORDER and Qlik Identifying discrepancies, investigating issues and fixing problems as they arise Supporting reporting and analysis across different brands and divisions Using data to help identify trends, issues and opportunities Looking for smarter and more efficient ways to complete tasks, including making effective use of AI and emerging tools Supporting the Planning team and wider business with whatever is needed to keep things moving About You You’ll be someone who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems and taking ownership of your work. You don’t need to know every system from day one. What matters is that you’re curious, adaptable and confident learning new things. A proactive, can‑do attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Strong analytical and numerical skills Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities The ability to work independently and take initiative Confidence learning new systems and understanding how different systems connect A natural problem‑solving mindset An interest in using AI and new technology to work smarter and improve processes Clear communication skills and the ability to work with people across different areas of the business A qualification in finance, accounting, business, analytics or a related discipline would be beneficial, but we’re open to different backgrounds. You might be a high‑performing graduate ready to start your commercial career, or someone with a couple of years’ experience who wants more variety, responsibility and exposure.
