Health Care Assistant

We are looking for full time Health Care Assistants for our busy rest home in Auckland. Provide our residents with personal care as they accomplish daily tasks, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming and using the restroom Maintain all care records in accordance with company policy and audit care records weekly to ensure accuracy Communicate any problems, concerns or issues to residents’ family members as needed Ensure all patients take medications as directed by health care providers Build rapport with residents by establishing personal connections and showing interest in their lives Respond to any safety or medical issues Lead daily group and individual activities for entertainment Any other duties the employer reasonably may require employee to perform. Pay rate: minimum $28.25 / hour - maximum $30.00 / hour Guaranteed hours of work per week: minimum 30 hours Requirements for the job: A Level 4 or higher in a relevant field Or at least two year's relevant work experience Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both residents and staff Flexible multitasking and time management skills Candidates need to be NZ citizens/residents #J-18808-Ljbffr
