We are looking for an experienced and motivated Landscape Team Leader to join our growing team. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll be responsible for leading a landscaping crew, coordinating projects, and ensuring high-quality landscaping work is delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule. About the Role As our Landscape Team Leader, you'll be responsible for: Leading and mentoring a landscaping crew Planning and coordinating landscape construction projects Assigning daily tasks and monitoring progress Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Using company software to assist with landscape design work Managing site logistics and schedules Operating landscaping equipment and machinery Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with company standards Key Responsibilities You'll be actively involved in a variety of landscaping tasks, including: Garden shaping and preparation Plant layout and installation Lawn preparation, ready lawn installation, hand seeding, and hydroseeding Manual digging and shovel work Wheelbarrow work and material handling Site clean‑up and presentation Machinery operation where licensed About You You are an experienced landscaper who enjoys leading from the front and takes pride in delivering high‑quality work. You thrive in an outdoor environment, have a strong eye for detail, and are passionate about creating landscapes that leave a lasting impression. To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Proven experience in landscaping, landscape construction, or horticulture. Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising a team. Strong knowledge of planting, paving, lawn preparation, and general landscape construction techniques. Confidence operating landscaping equipment and machinery. The ability to read and interpret landscape plans and work schedules. Excellent organisational and communication skills. A positive, hands‑on attitude with a willingness to get stuck in alongside your team. A commitment to workplace health and safety and delivering quality outcomes. A current Full New Zealand Driver Licence. WTR endorsement or machinery experience would be an advantage. Why Join Us?
