We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic Deputy Principal (6MU) to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a curriculum innovator with proven experience in leading school-wide planning, delivery, and evaluation of teaching and learning programmes. An understanding of the new curriculum and the pedagogies that underpin this is vital. Strong leadership and strategic planning are essential. The ability to build trusting relationships and foster a collaborative environment is key. Key responsibilities Lead school-wide planning, delivery, and evaluation of teaching and learning programmes Oversee support for English Language Learners Oversee the Junior Syndicate (Years 0-3) Work with team leaders to support teaching and learning in the Junior Syndicate area About you Curriculum innovator with proven experience in leading school-wide planning, delivery, and evaluation of teaching and learning programmes Understanding of the new curriculum and the pedagogies that underpin this Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities Ability to build trusting relationships and foster a collaborative environment Knowledge in English Language Learners support is advantageous Understanding of school culture is desirable Willingness to uphold the school culture is essential About us Cosgrove School is located at 10 Cosgrave Road Papakura Auckland 2110.
