Digital Print Operator & Finisher

An established commercial printer in East Tāmaki is looking for an all-rounder to join the production floor. You'll be responsible for moving jobs efficiently from the digital presses through bindery, finishing and dispatch — on time, to spec, and to the standard clients expect. You'll start with a clear focus on finishing and bindery — guillotine, laminator, folder/creaser, wire binding and more — then progressively expand into digital press operation and RIP software, with wide format to follow. For the right person there's even a pathway into design and prepress. Growth here is earned through demonstrated skills, not time served. This is not a role for someone who waits to be told what to do. You'll pick up jobs as they land, sequence your own workload against due dates, flag risks before they become problems, and hold the quality line on every job — right first time, every time. About you: Print production, bindery or finishing experience preferred — or a proven fast learner with strong machine aptitude Able to read and execute job specs accurately (cut sizes, fold types, binding, laminate) A proactive communicator who flags issues early #J-18808-Ljbffr
