Cleaner - Masterton We are looking for reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team servicing sites in Masterton. If you take pride in delivering high cleaning standards and enjoy working both independently and as part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you. Flexibility to assist with additional shifts during annual leave and sick leave cover is highly valued. Key Responsibilities Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming floors Dusting and wiping down surfaces Cleaning restrooms and replenishing consumables Emptying rubbish bins and maintaining waste disposal areas Polishing furniture and fixtures Operating basic electrical and mechanical cleaning equipment Maintaining high cleaning standards in public-facing environments while working around members of the public Assisting with additional shifts and supporting the wider team when required Following health and safety procedures at all times About You To be successful in this role, you will: Take pride in your work and have excellent attention to detail Be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Be able to work independently and as part of a team Have good time management and organisational skills Be flexible and willing to pick up additional shifts when required Be confident working in public environments Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic Previous commercial cleaning experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided to the right candidate Pre-Employment Requirements The successful applicant will be required to undergo pre-employment checks, which may include: A Ministry of Justice criminal history check Reference checks Any other checks relevant to the role Employment will be subject to satisfactory results.
