About the role As their Portfolio Governance & Assurance Manager, you’ll play a key role in providing leadership with a clear, trusted view of delivery confidence across a complex portfolio of transformation and change. You’ll establish and maintain effective governance rhythms, ensuring forums are decision-focused and supported by clear, evidence-based information. Working across delivery, technology, business and finance, you’ll bring together reporting inputs, identify gaps and inconsistencies, and provide an independent view of risks, issues, dependencies and overall delivery confidence. Your focus will be on governance, assurance and insight, helping senior leaders understand where attention or intervention is required and ensuring emerging risks are identified and escalated early. Your key responsibilities will include: Establishing and maintaining governance frameworks, forums and decision pathways Leading portfolio-level delivery confidence and executive reporting Maintaining visibility across risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) while identifying systemic risks, emerging issues and governance gaps. Preparing high-quality governance packs, decision papers and executive reporting.Supporting senior leadership and investment governance forums Establishing pragmatic standards across governance, reporting and delivery assurance Establishing and maintaining governance frameworks, forums and decision pathways Leading portfolio-level delivery confidence and executive reporting Maintaining visibility across risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) while identifying systemic risks, emerging issues and governance gaps. Preparing high-quality governance packs, decision papers and executive reporting.Supporting senior leadership and investment governance forums Establishing pragmatic standards across governance, reporting and delivery assurance About you You’ll bring significant experience from a governance, PMO/EPMO, portfolio or delivery assurance environment, ideally within a large and complex organisation.You’ll also bring: Strong experience establishing and operating governance frameworks and decision cadences ideally within Enterprise transformation or complex portfolio environments. Excellent executive reporting and delivery assurance capability Strong RAID management, risk identification and escalation experience The ability to turn complex or incomplete delivery information into clear, concise insights. You'll bring sound judgement and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity Confidence working with senior leaders and challenging delivery confidence where required Strong experience establishing and operating governance frameworks and decision cadences ideally within Enterprise transformation or complex portfolio environments. Excellent executive reporting and delivery assurance capability Strong RAID management, risk identification and escalation experience The ability to turn complex or incomplete delivery information into clear, concise insights.
