Retail Salesperson

We are looking for a motivated Sales and Delivery Driver based in Napier. This is a hands‑on customer‑facing role, combining regular product deliveries with sales support, customer service, and relationship building. You will be based in our retail store providing sales and advice and for part of each day out on the road, visiting customers, delivering products, processing orders, and helping grow sales across the region. This role would suit someone who enjoys dealing with people, likes being active, on the move and wanting to build a career in sales, customer service and the chemical products sector. You Will What you'll be doing Deliver products to customers across the wider Hawkes Bay region. Build strong relationships with new and existing customers instore and externally. Support sales growth through regular customer contact and product conversations. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Respond to customer enquiries and help identify the right product solutions.Follow a regular call plan and support branch sales activity. Work closely with the branch team to deliver excellent customer service. Maintain safe work practices when handling, loading, and delivering our products. Represent the company professionally while on the road and with customers. About You You don't need to be an expert from day one, we can teach product knowledge. What matters most is attitude, reliability, communication, and the ability to build trust with customers. You Will Bring A full Clean New Zealand drivers' licence. Strong communication and customer service skills. A reliable, proactive, and positive attitude. Good attention to detail. Confidence dealing with customers face to face. Excellent computer skills Have used Point of Sale The ability to work independently while staying connected to the branch team. A willingness to learn products, systems, and sales processes. Good physical fitness, as the role involves handling and delivering products. Cleaning product knowledge, delivery, warehousing, retail, or customer service experience would be useful, but we are open to people with the right attitude and willingness to learn. #J-18808-Ljbffr
