Baker or Baker's Assistant

We’re looking for a reliable Baker’s Assistant to join our busy artisan bakery. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role suited to someone who works efficiently, stays organised, and takes pride in their work. Please note: Hours between 5:00am–6:30pm , 5 days per week Early morning availability is essential Must be available to work weekends What you’ll be doing: Mixing, prepping and shaping doughs and batters Helping produce cakes, slices and other sweet items Preparing sandwiches, rolls and cabinet food Monitoring proofing and baking Weighing and measuring ingredients Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and stocked Following food safety and hygiene standards Helping the team during busy periods What we’re looking for: Bakery or food production experience preferred An interest in cakes, sweets and quality baked goods Good attention to detail and presentation Able to work quickly and stay organised Reliable and comfortable working independently or in a team Comfortable with early starts and being on your feet What we offer: Free staff meal each shift Friendly, experienced team If you’re dependable, hardworking and enjoy working with great food, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
