About the role We are looking for a Manager to join PwC's Transformation Design & Delivery team in Pōneke / Wellington. This opportunity is suited to experienced professionals who have worked hands-on across enterprise transformation or large-scale delivery programmes, from shaping and planning through to execution and delivery. You'll help to navigate complex change across some of New Zealand's most significant transformation programmes, bringing structure and momentum to delivery, building trusted executive relationships and contributing to the continued evolution of PwC's transformation practice. You'll play a key role in helping clients turn complex challenges into clear, practical delivery plans, leading workstreams and supporting teams to achieve outcomes that create meaningful and lasting impact — for clients, our people, our practice and the wider market. Responsibilities will include: Lead transformation workstreams and deliver high-quality outcomes that solve complex problems and create meaningful client impact. Work closely with clients to understand challenges, shape practical solutions and deliver results, and build trusted relationships along the way. Contribute to and lead workstreams across transformation programmes, taking ownership of delivery from planning through to execution. Coach and support junior team members, contributing to a strong, collaborative, and high-performing team culture. Contribute to the development of PwC's tools, frameworks and ways of working, helping shape how we deliver transformation for clients. Plan and manage delivery effectively, including work planning, resource coordination, and adapting to changing priorities. Proactively identify, manage and elevate risks and issues, ensuring challenges are addressed early and delivery stays on track. Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders, providing accurate updates and maintaining alignment throughout delivery. Contribute to implementation and service transition activities, ensuring solutions are embedded effectively and sustainably. Leverage PwC's coaching and development network to accelerate your growth while gaining exposure to a wide range of transformation work. Skills you will bring or develop in this role 6+ years' experience delivering transformation, change or project-based work, with the ability to contribute to and lead workstreams. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence across a range of stakeholders, including senior and executive levels. Comfortable working in structured delivery environments, with familiarity in recognised methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2 or PMI/PMBOK, and the ability to apply these pragmatically. Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams, navigating complexity and aligning diverse groups toward common outcomes. Clear and confident communication skills, able to translate complex ideas into practical actions for both clients and teams. Well-organised and proactive in approach, able to manage competing priorities, work independently and deliver to deadlines in a dynamic environment.
