Casual Manufacturing & Production Operators

Casual Manufacturing & Production Operators Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will be an important part of our manufacturing operation, assisting across a variety of production tasks to ensure customer orders are completed safely, efficiently and to our high-quality standards. As a casual employee, you will be contacted to work as and when required to support our production team during busy periods. While there are no guaranteed hours, we anticipate this role will involve full-time hours for approximately 6–8 weeks during our peak production season. We also expect there will be ongoing opportunities for work throughout the year as production demands require. The role can involve some heavy lifting, working in both hot and cold environments, and ensuring our products are manufactured and packed to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities Operating machinery and equipment on the production line Assisting with the manufacturing, assembly and packing of products Monitoring product quality throughout the production process Cleaning and maintaining work areas to a high standard Following production procedures and workplace health and safety requirements Working as part of a team to meet daily production requirements Assisting with other production duties as required About you Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred A positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently Reliable, punctual and trustworthy with a strong work ethic Ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift moderate weights as required Willingness to work overtime when required during busy periods Flexibility around working hours as production volumes change About us Ecrotek NZ is a New Zealand owned Beekeeping Supplies Company committed to delivering a premium service to our clients by providing top quality customer service and premium products, both here in New Zealand and internationally.
