Veterinary Receptionist – Small Animal & Farm South Wairarapa Veterinary Services – Wellington, North Island We are looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our small animal and farm teams. We have reception opportunities available across our Carterton and Greytown clinics. These are 4-day-per-week roles and may include work within our small animal reception team, farm reception team, or a mix of both depending on business needs and candidate fit. Why you will LOVE it Part-time hours (~34 hours per week) Varied reception roles across small animal and farm teams Supportive team and locally owned practice Opportunity to work alongside vets, nurses, farm technicians and admin teams What you will be doing Welcoming clients and answering phones Managing bookings, emails, payments and client records Supporting appointment flow and clinic communication Assisting with general reception and administration tasks Completing farm administration, including RVM paperwork Assisting with product orders and stock coordination Working with our vet, farm, reception and admin teams What you will bring You are friendly, organised and practical, with strong attention to detail Customer service, reception or admin experience Confidence with phones, bookings and systems Some understanding of farming or rural clients Interest in the veterinary industry Reliability, initiative and a willingness to get stuck in About South Wairarapa Vets We are a locally owned practice with clinics in Carterton, Greytown and Masterton, delivering companion animal, production animal and equine services.
