We're looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Production and Customer Planner to join our operations team. This is a pivotal role where you'll coordinate production schedules, align customer expectations with manufacturing capability, and help ensure products are delivered on time, in full, and to specification. About the Role You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining achievable production plans that maximise safety, efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. You'll work closely with manufacturing, sales, supply chain, customer service, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure customer commitments are met while optimising production performance. Key Responsibilities Create and manage daily and weekly production schedules. Balance customer demand, labour availability, machine capacity, and material supply. Monitor production progress and adjust priorities to achieve on-time delivery. Provide proactive communication on lead times, production status, and customer orders. Collaborate with branches, sales teams, and operations to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. Maintain accurate planning data within ERP systems. Support inventory management activities, including cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and inventory accuracy. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, service, and operational performance. Champion Easysteel's commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence. What You'll Bring To be successful in this role, you'll have: Experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or supply chain planning. Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems. Advanced Excel and data analysis capability. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A customer-focused mindset and passion for service delivery. Experience with inventory control, stock management, or logistics coordination. Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement approach. Experience within manufacturing, steel, industrial, or distribution environments will be highly regarded. Why Join Easysteel?
