Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Deputy principal Tararua College is seeking an outstanding educational leader to join our senior leadership team as deputy principal (curriculum). This is an exciting opportunity for a highly effective teacher and leader who is passionate about curriculum excellence, high-quality teaching and learning, and ensuring every young person has the opportunity to succeed. As deputy principal (curriculum), you will play a key role in leading teaching and learning across the school, working collaboratively with staff, students, whānau, iwi, and the wider community to achieve excellent outcomes for all learners. The successful applicant will: Lead the ongoing development and implementation of a responsive, future-focused curriculum. Support teacher growth through coaching, mentoring, and professional learning. Oversee assessment, achievement monitoring, and reporting processes. Manage the College's Alternative Education provision, ensuring positive pathways and outcomes for students. Work collaboratively with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team to achieve strategic goals. Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and learner success.
