As a Support Worker in the Supported Independent Living (SIL) team, you'll walk alongside people in their day-to-day lives - supporting them to build confidence, make choices, connect with others, and live as independently as possible. Some days that means going for a walk, supporting at appointments, or celebrating a small but powerful win. We're Looking For Someone With: A Passion for People: Be patient, friendly, and kind, with the ability to understand, communicate, and genuinely connect with people Empathy & Understanding: Person-centred focus. Team Player: Professional, honest, and a reliable team-player with a flexible mindset. Practical Skills: The ability to carry out personal cares, including showering and dressing. Driver Licence: A Full NZ Driver Licence is essential, as is your own vehicle to transport those you are supporting, we reimburse mileage. Previous Experience: Work or lived experience preferrable.
