Do you enjoy working with families, children, pets and professionals? We’re on the lookout for an experienced Studio Portrait Photographer to join our passionate, creative team. This is a full-time role where you’ll work closely with families to capture heartfelt moments—creating stunning images that will be cherished through beautiful wall art and albums for years to come. You’ll work Tuesday to Saturday (40 hours) , including a late night, alongside a team that genuinely loves what they do and is committed to delivering exceptional quality and unforgettable client experiences. This role is perfect for someone who wants to amaze our clients. You bring high energy, a warm and confident presence, and a deep passion for photography. You love working with children of all ages—from newborns to teenagers—as well as precious fur babies of every kind . You’re motivated, adaptable, and always looking to refine your craft. To be successful, you must have: At least 3 years’ proven portrait photography experience, supported by a relevant University or Technical Institute qualification Confidence and skill in handling and posing newborns A warm, approachable personality that builds trust and rapport quickly with families and professionals The ability to think on your feet and work calmly under pressure to capture those magical, spontaneous moments Advanced skills using Macs and Adobe software including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Bridge Exceptional attention to detail with a strong desire to achieve outstanding results The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team A creative eye and the confidence to help shape and maintain our photographic style in line with client expectations and current trends The core role includes: Delivering an exceptional photography experience from start to finish Conducting portrait sessions in studio and on location Preparing images prior to viewing and ordering appointments Editing and preparing production files and performing quality checks Maintaining a studio environment that’s always ready to capture beautiful memories Applicants must have full New Zealand working rights .
