Auckland | 12-Month Fixed-Term/Immediate start An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Logistics Manager to join a global business and play a key role in strengthening logistics operations, improving inventory management, and establishing robust operational processes. This role is ideal for a hands-on logistics leader who thrives in complex environments, can quickly identify operational gaps, and has a proven ability to drive process improvement and stakeholder engagement. About the Role As Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for creating a controlled, efficient, and sustainable logistics operation through improved governance, inventory control, process implementation, and third-party logistics (3PL) management. You will work closely with key stakeholders across operations, supply chain, and service teams to establish clear ownership, accountability, and best-practice logistics processes. Key Responsibilities Lead inventory management and improve stock accuracy, visibility, and control Review current logistics operations and identify process gaps and risks Develop and implement sustainable logistics and inventory management processes Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external 3PL providers Drive operational improvements and efficiencies across the logistics function Establish clear governance frameworks, KPIs, and performance measures Manage service levels, issue resolution, and ongoing supplier performance Ensure processes are documented, embedded, and sustainable for long-term success About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Extensive experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or distribution leadership Strong inventory management and stock control expertise Proven experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers Demonstrated success implementing process improvement initiatives Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities Experience establishing governance, KPIs, and operational controls A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work autonomously Excellent communication and influencing skills Exposure to FMCG, manufacturing, healthcare, distribution, or commercial supply chain environments Experience leading operational transformation or continuous improvement projects Knowledge of warehouse management systems and ERP platforms What's on Offer 12-month contract with a well-established global organisation Opportunity to make a significant impact and drive operational improvement Collaborative environment with strong stakeholder engagement High-profile project focused on logistics excellence and business transformation If you are an experienced logistics professional who enjoys solving operational challenges and driving meaningful changes, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
