About the Role AsClinical Secretarial Support, you will provide high-qualityadministrative and secretarial support to consultants and clinical teams. Youwill be responsible for managing clinical correspondence, coordinatingappointments, maintaining accurate patient records, and supporting the patientjourney from referral through to treatment and follow-up care. Thisrole requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, andthe ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level ofprofessionalism and confidentiality. Thisis a permanent, full-time position working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE),Monday to Friday, 7.30AM to 4.00PM. Please view the position description for furtherinformation. About the Team/Service/ Location Our Clinical Support Services team plays a vital rolein ensuring the smooth operation of the patient’s journey. By providingessential administrative support, we enable clinical teams to focus ondelivering exceptional patient care. For moreinformation on living and working in Nelson click here About you As Clinical Secretarial Support, you will: Have excellent administrative andorganisational skills; Be a confident communicator with stronginterpersonal skills; Demonstrate a high level of accuracyand attention to detail; Possess sound computer skills,including experience with Microsoft Office applications; Have the ability to manage a busy andvaried workload; Be committed to providing exceptionalcustomer service; Respect the importance of patientconfidentiality and privacy. Previous secretarial, administration, or healthcare experience andknowledge of medical terminology would be advantageous but are not essential. Atyping speed of 50 words per minute or more is essential. Audio transcription experienceand medical terminology would be advantageous but not essential. Our preferredapplicants will be required to undertake a computer skills assessment. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealandor hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
