Rangitaamiro is seeking two Engagement & Contract Advisors to support our regional commissioning activity across (1) Waikato-Tainui and (2) Tāmaki Makaurau. Rangitaamiro is a Whānau Ora Commissioning entity formed through the collective of National Hauora Coalition, Ngaa Pou Hauora oo Tāmaki Makaurau Iwi Māori Partnership Board, and Te Tiratū Iwi Māori Partnership Board. We commission more than $65 million of Whānau Ora services and support to communities across the upper North Island. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Engagement & Contract Advisor Waikato-Tainui and the Engagement & Contract Advisor Tāmaki Makaurau are important links between our Whānau Ora providers, regional intelligence, commissioning activity and contract performance. Both regions require, hands‑on attention, combining provider and stakeholder engagement with contract management and administration. You will build trusted day‑to‑day performance driven relationships with providers while coordinating the contract lifecycle, monitoring obligations and milestones, maintaining accurate information, and ensuring emerging performance, compliance or relationship issues are identified and escalated appropriately. You will work closely with Regional Managers, Provider Relationships & Communications Advisors, Whānau Ora Analysts and commissioning colleagues to help deliver a consistent One Rangitaamiro experience for providers. Ngā mahi | What you'll do Act as a trusted and responsive day‑to‑day contact for assigned Whānau Ora providers. Coordinate provider hui, enquiries, follow‑up actions and information requests. Manage contract administration across establishment, execution, variations, extensions, renewals, milestones and close‑out. Maintain accurate contract files, registers, documentation and system information. Monitor provider obligations, deliverables, reporting dates and financial and non‑financial milestones. Identify emerging performance, compliance, delivery or relationship risks and escalation these appropriately. Collect, validate and coordinate provider and contract information to support regional reporting and investment decisions. Work alongside the Whānau Ora Analyst to strengthen data quality and connect regional intelligence with performance information. Support procurement, programme co‑design, contract reviews and provider transitions when required. Contribute to consistent contracting, engagement practices and continuous improvement across Rangitaamiro. Mōu | About you You will be comfortable working at the intersection of relationships, contracts and commissioning. You can build trust with providers and communities while maintaining the discipline, accuracy and accountability required when administering public investment. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate some if not all of the following: Experience in contract administration or coordination, together with provider, stakeholder or community engagement experience. Strong relationship management, communication and coordination skills. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage documentation, deadlines, enquiries and multiple workstreams. An understanding of contract lifecycle requirements, compliance and good record‑keeping practices. Strong relationship management, communication and coordination skills. Excellent attention to detail and sound written communication. The ability to analyse information, resolve routine issues and exercise sound judgement about when matters need to be escalated. An understanding of tikanga Māori and relationship‑based practice. A commitment to confidentiality, privacy and the appropriate handling of provider and whānau information. A relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent practical experience. Experience within Whānau Ora, iwi, Māori health, social services, commissioning, funding or a provider environment would be an advantage, as would knowledge of the iwi, hapū and provider landscape across Waikato‑Tainui and/or Tāmaki Makaurau.
