This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced intermediate level designer who enjoys bringing ideas to life and wants to contribute to the visual identity and storytelling of one of New Zealand's leading independent schools. About the role Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Director, you will create high-quality visual content across print and digital channels, supporting King's College and its affiliated entities. Working closely with our Brand & Design Specialist and wider Marketing & Communications team, you will help ensure our communications are engaging, contemporary and consistently reflect the King's brand. Your work will be varied and will include: Designing creative assets across print and digital media Interpreting briefs and translating ideas into compelling visual solutions Preparing accurate, high-quality artwork for print and digital production Adapting and refreshing creative for different platforms, formats and audiences Working within established King's College brand guidelines to maintain a strong and consistent visual identity Managing design files and digital assets, including appropriate naming, storage and version control Ideally, capturing high-quality photography of College events, students, employees, activities and facilities for use across our marketing and communications channels This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced intermediate level designer who enjoys bringing ideas to life and wants to contribute to the visual identity and storytelling of one of New Zealand's leading independent schools. You will bring strong attention to detail while also having the confidence to use your initiative, contribute ideas and look for better ways of doing things. You will ideally have: A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience Proven professional graphic design experience and a strong portfolio of work High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop Experience working within an established organisational brand Strong skills across both print and digital design Excellent attention to detail and production accuracy The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work to deadline Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Photography skills would be an advantage Why King's?
