Employers & Manufacturers Assn. – Grafton, North Island We're looking for an experienced and highly organised Event Producer to deliver a diverse portfolio of events that engage, inspire and create value for EMA members, partners and stakeholders. In this role, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of events across in-person, virtual and hybrid formats. You'll bring events to life through exceptional planning, stakeholder management and execution, ensuring every experience reflects EMA's commitment to supporting and empowering New Zealand businesses. Key Responsibilities Managing the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of in-person, virtual and hybrid event Coordinating event logistics, including venues, catering, registrations and AV Managing relationships with speakers, sponsors, members and suppliers Leading event planning, execution and post-event evaluation activities Developing and managing event run sheets, timelines, checklists and event brief Delivering exceptional customer experiences that support member engagement Overseeing EMA's participation in external trade, industry events, and event content production Gathering and analysing attendee feedback, monitoring NPS performance Collaborating with teams across Marketing, Membership, Advocacy and Legal Contributing to wider organisational initiatives and special projects where events play a key role About You At least 7 years' experience in event production, including virtual and hybrid events Experience delivering conferences, corporate or membership-based events Exceptional organisational and project management skills Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and suppliers Outstanding stakeholder management skills and the confidence to build relationships Ability to influence outcomes and respectfully challenge when necessary Excellent written and verbal communication skills A solutions-focused, adaptable and resilient approach Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes Experience negotiating with suppliers, sponsors and external partners The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across a broader team Enthusiastic about new event technologies and AI-driven solutions About us The EMA (Employers and Manufacturers Association) is New Zealand’s largest business association, supporting employers who collectively represent around 20% of the workforce.
