Produce Assistant - Westgate PaknSave

PAK'nSAVE Westgate is looking for a produce assistant to join our team. The primary role of the ProduceAssistant is to pack, present, and merchandise to ensure that a maximum rangeand sufficient quantity of fresh product is available for sale at the correctprice at all times as well as ensuring the department is kept clean, tidy andattractively presented. In this role you will complete thetasks of a Produce Assistant, including but not limited to: Assisting in the loading and unloadingof produce trucks / deliveries in a timely fashion thus avoiding wastage andensuring appropriate temperature checks are completed. Ensuring all inwards goods aremarked off, temperature checked and put away appropriately therebyreducing wastage, mark-downs, and stock loss. Assisting in the packing ofproduce as required. Ensuring the displays / shelvesare appropriately stocked and relevant merchandising standards are alwaysmaintained. Ensuring appropriate stockrotation. Completing appropriate stocktakes and ordering as required. Effectively resolving allcustomers related enquiries and complaints unless management approval isrequired.
