Community Support Worker - Napier/Hastings Hawkes Bay Casual Community Support Worker - Napier/Hastings Hawkes Bay Casual Care on Call provides support to people withintheir homesafter injury, illness or just to make their lives easier. We are always looking for professional, warm, capable people who have a real desire to make a difference in someone's life. You will join an existing supportive and caring team who look after our clients with their daily tasks, social activities and work commitments. This includes but is not limited to: Manual Handling Personal Cares House work and meal preparation Driving client’s in their vehicle to get to appointments, work meetings and community/social events Passive exercises and stretches Additional requirements Great communication skills A current, clean full driver’s licence Ideally minimum Level 2 Health and Wellbeing certificate (or above) Previous experience as a caregiver/support worker with similar clients The legal right to work in NZ Energetic, initiative, and a good sense of humour To be reliable, punctual, honest and caring What we can offer you: 24/7 support and a local office and a local Manager Access to some of the latest technology and resources available within the healthcare sector Great hourly rates in line with the pay equity settlement Annual leave, sick leave and Kiwisaver contributions on top of your hourly rate Access to a range of training resources and support to achieve NZQA recognised qualifications Comprehensive induction and personalised client training.
