We also regulate self-contained vehicles to help manage the impacts of freedom camping on New Zealand's natural environment. Mō te tūnga |About the Role Working closely with our Legal and Compliance Manager and General Counsel, you'll provide legal, administrative, and operational support across a range of regulatory and legal activities. Case and workflow management. Records and information management. Stakeholder communication. Regulatory and compliance matters. Legal research and information gathering. Public sector and in-house legal practice. Key responsibilities include: Managing the Legal Team inbox and correspondence. Coordinating legal requests and workflow tracking. Assisting with legal research and document preparation. Preparing agendas, minutes, and meeting documentation. Maintaining legal records and SharePoint libraries. Supporting reporting and administrative processes. Assisting the Legal Team with day-to-day operational activities. Mōhou ake | About you Our ideal candidate will have: Legal experience and/or legal education (desirable). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Sound judgement and discretion when dealing with sensitive information. A proactive approach and willingness to learn. A commitment to delivering excellent work. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people.
