Our team lives five core values: These are: We show that we care We trust each other We are loyal We depend on each other About the role The Lean Operations Specialist is a new role that provides vital administrative and analytical support to the Chief Operating Officer to enable the development and implementation of process improvement as well as providing day to day oversight of Team Leaders. The objective of this role is simple: Plan Ahead. Protect the schedule. Maintain flow. Key responsibilities Gather, analyse and explain data Recommend priorities in discussion with COO and direct energies where they are needed Maintain all reporting platforms with excellent process knowledge and understanding of lean management principles Conduct systems auditing to identify concerns and monitor effectiveness of changes Measure demand in the factory/warehouse (TAKT Time) and dispatch vs cycle time to produce a unit/pick/delivery Work confidently and respectfully with all team members with strong communication and ability to lead meetings Be the conduit between CAD for introduction of new cabinets or any changes Ensure materials are available before jobs reach cutting, assembly, and dispatch Confirm newly arrived materials are quickly included in cutting priorities About you Experienced with LEAN principles Passion for continuous improvement High level of self-organisation Excellent process knowledge and understanding of lean management principles Strong communication skills and ability to lead meetings Kata Improvement & Kata coaching experience is a great advantage #J-18808-Ljbffr
