Quality Assurance Technician - Chip Sealing As a Quality Assurance Technician, you'll support the successful delivery of sealing projects by conducting inspections, monitoring quality requirements, and maintaining accurate records throughout the sealing process. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out pre-seal inspections and confirming sites are ready for sealing. Completing on-site QA checks, testing, sampling, and measurements during sealing operations. Monitoring works against seal designs, specifications, and quality requirements. Maintaining accurate sealing records, dockets, inspection reports, and QA documentation. Identifying and communicating quality issues early so they can be addressed efficiently. Assisting with post-seal inspections and quality assurance close-out activities. Working closely with sealing crews, supervisors, and project teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. To be successful in this role, you'll bring: Class 2 licence preferred, but not essential. Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands-on attitude. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Good organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records. Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently when required. Confidence working outdoors in active civil construction and roading environments. A willingness to learn and develop knowledge of chip sealing operations and quality assurance processes. You must also be: Available to work away from home for extended periods when required. Willing to work weekends, including Sundays, during peak operational periods. Experience Previous experience in civil construction, roading, quality assurance, or a related field would be advantageous but is not essential.
