We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a civil construction background to work for a reputable civil construction company undertaking design and build WWTP projects. Working across a wider scope of work above $100m in value, across multiple project sites, you will be involved in a range of civil disciplines including structures, buried services, earthworks, retaining walls and interface with M&E. This company is led by industry veterans and have made a name for themselves through quality work, technical design knowledge, effective project management and providing excellent value to their clients. The focus of this role is understanding the technical elements of the project and being able to effectively manage the construction phase to ensure that the work is delivered on time, on budget and that it meets all technical requirements of the design. Key responsibilities Manage the construction phase to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and meet all technical requirements of the design Understand the technical elements of each project across civil disciplines including structures, buried services, earthworks, retaining walls and M&E interface Effectively manage cost and programme Direct sub-contractors work Engage effectively with clients and stakeholders About you 5yrs+ experience in the New Zealand civil construction industry B.Eng or relevant tertiary qualifications Ideally structures and/or 3 waters experience Residing in or able to relocate to the greater Hamilton area.
