This is a pivotal role where you’ll provide support to our management team and crew while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the administrative side of our business. Office Administrator – Drill Force Are you an experienced Office Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? Drill Force is seeking a motivated and capable professional to join our Management Team and lead our administrative function with confidence and precision. This is a pivotal role where you’ll provide support to our management team and crew while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the administrative side of our business. About the Role As Office Administrator, you will oversee administrative, accounts, and payroll functions across the company. You’ll be responsible for planning, organising, and supervising day-to-day office operations, ensuring high standards of efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism. You will work closely with Directors, Managers, Crew and external stakeholders to support the delivery of our services. Key Responsibilities Oversee office operations, including front desk and support functions Manage payroll processes (wages and salaries) Review accounts payable, credit card expenses, and financial coding Work alongside the Company Accountant Monitor and follow up on outstanding debtors with Managers Support the Accountant with GST and all other financial requirements Assist with Council applications and client documentation Coordinate staff drug screening when required Ensure administrative systems and processes meet company standards Administration Duties Prepare, process, and manage sales invoicing through Xero Maintain accurate invoice records and payment tracking Manage and update employee data in payroll systems (e.g. PayHero) Complete client applications, reports, and documentation Liaise with clients, Councils, and suppliers Process international payments Arrange insurance for plant and vehicles Organise travel and accommodation for Crew Manage PPE stock levels Ordering and management of Stock Key Attributes & Skills Strong understanding of accounts and payroll processes Proven ability to manage workloads, deadlines, and operational priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Xero, and payroll systems High attention to detail and organisational skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities General Expectations Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times Work collaboratively and support team members Be reliable, punctual, and accountable Follow all company policies, including Health & Safety requirements Contribute to a positive and respectful workplace culture Health & Safety At Drill Force, safety is a priority.
