Rubiix Accountants – Auckland, North Island Auckland | 15 hours per week | Flexible Hybrid Working The Role We at Rubiix Accountants are looking for an experienced Payroll & Bookkeeping Administrator to take responsibility for a range of payroll, bookkeeping and accounts activities. This is a high-trust role where accuracy, confidentiality and reliability are essential. You will be responsible for managing multiple payrolls, along with day-to-day bookkeeping and accounts work, ensuring everything is completed accurately and within the required timeframes. The role is approximately 15 hours per week and offers flexibility around how those hours are worked. The majority of the role can be worked remotely, with approximately four hours in the office once a fortnight. We are looking for someone who is experienced, organised and comfortable managing their workload independently. What You'll Be Doing Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time. Managing payroll information including wages, salaries, commissions, bonuses and reimbursements. Maintaining accurate payroll records and information. Completing bank and credit card reconciliations in Xero. Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Processing supplier invoices and preparing payments. Raising invoices, credit notes and statements as required. Assisting with tax and other payments as required. Monitoring and responding to accounts-related emails. Maintaining accurate financial records and completing other general accounts administration as required. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Proven experience managing payroll from start to finish. Strong bookkeeping and accounts experience. Good working knowledge of Xero, including Xero Payroll. Experience with iPayroll would be an advantage. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organisational and time management skills. The ability to manage multiple payroll deadlines and priorities. A high level of discretion and confidentiality. The ability to work independently and use your initiative. Strong communication skills and a practical, down-to-earth approach. What We Offer The ability to work remotely.
