Job Description About The Role: Full time - minimum of 40 hours per week with more available Pay rate is $28 - $32.00 per hour Located in Tauriko, Tauranga Applicant with NZ work rights only We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team in Tauriko, Tauranga. In this hands-on role, you'll manufacture Bayonet's range of wire and underlay products for the rural and construction sectors, with a sharp focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. We are offering a competitive pay rate, overtime rates, shift allowances as well as on the job training! In this role you will: Operate production machinery, turning raw materials into finished products Assist with machine set-ups and changeovers Perform pre-start checks and routine maintenance Organise and thread new wire coils through machinery Maintain neat presentation of finished products Troubleshoot and resolve minor breakdowns Complete job sheets and other admin tasks as required Support the distribution team when needed Strictly adhere to safety and quality standards Report safety incidents and participate in investigations Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised workplace Qualifications Your skills: We are after an individual whose values align with ours and who: Ideally has 1-year previous machine operation experience in the manufacturing environment Basic maths and English skills Is mechanically minded with an understanding of production machinery and mechanical systems. Is a team player with an excellent work ethic Commitment to health & safety practices Has excellent attention to detail Is physically fit with some heavy lifting (20+kgs) Is able to work flexible hours Forklift license and experience a plus Experience with wire and underlay products is an advantage Additional Information #J-18808-Ljbffr
