GN Construction is a well-established Auckland main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, complex projects across commercial, residential, aged care, industrial and retail and fit out sectors. With a solid pipeline of secured work and continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our Interiors & Light Commercial team. The Opportunity This role will play a key part in the delivery of refurbishment, fit-out, and light commercial construction projects. A significant portion of the work will involve projects located across New Zealand, therefore the flexibility to travel is required. Stakeholder coordination, programme management, quality control and a proactive approach to health and safety are critical to the success of project delivery. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day site operations Manage subcontractors and suppliers Drive programme delivery and productivity Lead site health & safety compliance (HSWA) Ensure work complies with NZ Building Code and project specifications Maintain QA documentation and site reporting Liaise with clients, consultants and internal project teams What We’re Looking For Proven Site Management experience in NZ commercial construction Strong background in fit-out, refurbishment or light commercial projects Experience working in live environments Confident leading H&S and managing multiple trades Strong organisational and communication skills Willingness to work night shifts when required Flexibility and available to travel nationwide What We Offer Strong forward workload across Auckland and NZ Diverse and technically interesting projects Supportive team environment Competitive salary package aligned with the Auckland market Real career progression within a growing contractor Due to the number of applicants, only successful candidates will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
