Auckland Airport Luggage Trolley Collectors - Casual Only Smarte Carte – Auckland airport, North Island We are looking for casual employees to help boost our staffing levels for the upcoming September School Holiday periods through to the Summer holiday season. The Airport is a hive of activity! Domestic and International travel is cranking and we have fantastic opportunities for you to come and join the team at Smarte Carte and the community at the airport, where no two days are the same. Smarte Carte is the world’s largest concessionaire of trolley services. Our experience is extensive and varied due to the number of operations in different environments and culturally diverse locations worldwide. We provide this service in hundreds of airports globally with a strong commitment to workplace safety. We are currently looking for Luggage Trolley collectors to work between the Auckland International and Domestic Airport terminals and surrounding carparks as well as delivering trolleys to the International Arrivals hall and driving airside. You will need to be physically fit with the ability to walk and be on your feet for 8 hours while pushing/pulling trolleys around the airport terminals. Requirements for the role are: - Be well-presented, proactive and able to work well on your own and as part of a team. - Must have the right to reside and work in New Zealand. - Be physically fit to perform moderate to heavy duties and walk and stand for long periods. - Clear Criminal record (to be able to obtain an Airport ID card and work at New Zealand Airports). - Be able to complete the airport’s security and airside driving assessments. - Be available to work Morning and Evening Shifts between 05:00 am and 22:00 pm during weekdays, weekends and public holidays. - Good knowledge of and a commitment to safe working practices. - Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions. - Be able to communicate in verbal and written English.
