Our client is an award-winning civil contractor with expertise in delivering complex infrastructure projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join their Hamilton Team. The Role With a strong focus on planning, scheduling, and compliance, you will be a key contributor to the success of large-scale projects. Responsibilities Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources, materials, and labour. Plan, co-ordinate and delegate tasks for the safe, efficient delivery of the project Oversee internal crews and subcontractors ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards. Maintain daily site records. Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety and quality regulations. Ensure all projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality and safety standards. Skills And Experience Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Project Engineer within 3 waters. Proven experience in meeting project deadlines and budgets. Skilled in site layout, utility design, grading, and regulatory compliance. Strong commercial acumen in budgeting, cost control, and forecasting. Expertise in project delivery, including surveying and permits. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Self-motivated and committed to delivering high-quality work.
