Part-Time Packing Assistant – Northcross / Browns Bay / Albany Area Anmol Saroj Limited – Northcross, North Island SpiceBloom is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Part-Time Packing Assistant to join our small team in Northcross on Auckland’s North Shore. This is a hands-on packing role working with spices, herbs, superfoods, seeds, lentils, flours and other dry food products. The position will begin at approximately 10–15 hours per week , with the opportunity for additional hours as the business continues to grow. Location The role is based in Northcross, near Browns Bay and Albany . Because the shifts may sometimes be shorter and the hours may vary depending on workload, this position is best suited to someone living in Northcross, Browns Bay, Albany, Torbay, Mairangi Bay, East Coast Bays or another nearby North Shore suburb. Applicants must have reliable transport to and from our Northcross location. Hours You must be available to work during our operating hours: Monday to Friday, between 9:00am and 4:00pm The exact roster may vary depending on workload, but the role will initially provide approximately 10–15 hours per week. Additional weekday hours may be offered during busy periods. Weekend work may occasionally be available, but this is completely optional and is not a requirement of the position. Main Responsibilities Your main responsibility will be packing dry food products accurately and efficiently. Tasks will include: Weighing spices, herbs, superfoods and other dry food products Filling product pouches according to the correct weight Sealing and labelling pouches Checking labels, weights and product information for accuracy Following packing instructions and batch requirements Keeping the packing area clean, organised and hygienic Cleaning equipment and work surfaces Restocking packaging materials Helping move bulk product bags and cartons when required Following food-safety and workplace procedures Completing repetitive packing tasks while maintaining accuracy This position is focused primarily on product packing. It does not involve sales or customer service. About You We are looking for someone who is: Reliable and punctual Careful and accurate Able to follow instructions properly Comfortable performing repetitive tasks Able to work efficiently without compromising accuracy Honest and responsible Organised and clean Comfortable standing for extended periods Physically able to lift and move cartons or bulk ingredient bags when required Available during weekday business hours Able to travel reliably to Northcross Experience in food packing, production, warehousing or a similar role would be helpful, but it is not essential. Full training will be provided. Attention to detail is extremely important because every pouch must contain the correct product, weight and label. About SpiceBloom SpiceBloom is a growing Auckland-based e-commerce business selling spices, herbs, superfoods, seeds, lentils, flours, dried fruits and other pantry products throughout New Zealand. We operate a small packing facility in Northcross and pack products regularly in small batches. You will be joining a small team, so we are looking for someone dependable who takes pride in doing the job properly and can grow with the business.
