We are seeking an experienced Laundry Service Manager to oversee serviced and self-service laundry operations. This hands-on role involves supervising staff, coordinating wash, dry and fold services, maintaining service quality, managing equipment, stock and supplies, and ensuring excellent customer service. The successful applicant will have supervisory or management experience, strong organisational and communication skills, practical problem-solving abilities, and confidence to independently manage daily operations, staff, customers and operational issues in a busy laundry environment. Laundry Service Manager We are seeking a reliable and experienced Laundry Service Manager to manage the day-to-day operation of our growing serviced and self-service laundry business. This is a hands-on management position responsible for overseeing staff, coordinating customer laundry services, maintaining service quality and efficient workflow, managing equipment and facilities, and delivering a high standard of customer service. Key Responsibilities Manage daily serviced and self-service laundry operations. Supervise, roster, train and coordinate laundry staff. Manage wash, dry, fold and customer laundry workflows. Maintain quality standards and service turnaround times. Coordinate customer orders and pickup/delivery services. Manage customer enquiries and resolve service issues. Monitor equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs. Manage stock, supplies and operational records. Ensure health and safety and cleanliness standards are maintained. Liaise with suppliers, contractors and commercial customers. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer service and business performance. About You You should be comfortable have previous supervisory, operations or management experience in a laundry business environment. You will need strong organisational, communication and practical problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to providing a high-quality and reliable laundry service. Experience in laundry, cleaning, machinery, maintenance or another service-based operational environment would be advantageous.
