Based in Tawa, this role will see you supporting the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical networks across the Wellington region. We're looking for aLeading Hand to join our team, supporting a variety of overhead construction, maintenance and fault response work while helping deliver safe, reliable and high-quality outcomes for our customers. We're also keen to hear from experienced Line Mechanics or Live Line Mechanics who are ready to take the next step in their career and develop into a Leading Hand role. You’ll be involved in: Supporting the delivery of overhead line construction, maintenance and network upgrades Coordinating day-to-day work across sites and projects Supporting fault response and emergency restoration work Working safely at heights and operating associated equipment Reading and interpreting utility plans and network requirements Supporting the team to deliver work safely, efficiently and to a high standard About you You’ll thrive in this role if you have: Experience in overhead line work across construction, maintenance or fault response Current EWRB practising licence (or actively working towards it) Strong understanding of safety standards, electrical regulations and safe work practices Experience with distribution networks, EWPs, live line or HV work highly regarded Good communication and organisational skills A positive attitude, reliable work ethic and willingness to take the next step in your career What's on Offer Up to $110,000 salary + overtime + company vehicle Training, licensing support and clear career progression Health and wellbeing perks, including free confidential counselling, annual flu vaccines, mole checks and biennial mini-medicals Relocation support to help you move to Wellington Please note: Connetics requires all successful applicants to complete a pre-employment Ministry of Justice check, along with a medical assessment including a drug and alcohol test. #J-18808-Ljbffr
