Veterinary Associates Equine LP – Kumeu, North Island We are looking for a rockstar horse person to join our team of vets, nurses and assistants in Kumeu. Vet Associates Equine has two branches - we are hiring for the Kumeu division, so being local to the area is pretty key. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a variety of horses - young, old, well-mannered and spicy are on the schedule every day. You can’t be squeamish! This is a vet practice after all. You’ll be required to assist in all procedures - wound care, radiographs, trotting horses up for lameness exams, dentistry, and everything else general veterinary practice has to offer. The role includes horse handling and care, driving, clean up, admin tasks, client communications, scheduling and bookings, and anything and everything that comes our way. We’d love a qualified nurse to join the team, but we are open to non-qualified roles as well. Horse experience is a must. Most of our team carries a four-day work week, and we are open to full-time or part-time roles. Regular clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8-530.
