We’re looking for reliable, fit and adaptable Class 2 Drivers to join a team working across upcoming turf management, open spaces and landscaping projects throughout South Auckland . This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, working outdoors and being part of a hands-on team . While you’ll be driving a Class 2 manual truck, this is not a driving-only role . You’ll also be expected to jump out of the truck, get your hands dirty and help the team get the job done. What the role involves Driving Class 2 manual trucks across Auckland Transporting aggregates, materials and equipment between sites Working on turf management, open spaces and landscaping projects Jumping out of the truck to assist with general labouring Shovelling, spreading materials and other physical work Working as part of a team and following instructions from supervisors Meeting at different sites depending on the day's work Some days may involve picking up the truck from the depot and heading out across Auckland Predominantly South Auckland based, with occasional travel to the North Shore depot required Opportunity to learn and operate other machinery for the right person Varied Work We’re looking for reliable, fit and adaptable Class 2 Drivers to join a team working across upcoming turf management, open spaces and landscaping projects throughout South Auckland . You must have: Current Class 2 driver's licence Ability to drive a manual truck Good level of physical fitness Comfortable with hands-on labouring and getting on the end of a shovel Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team Reliable attendance and a good attitude An explainable MOJ Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test An advantage if you have: WTR endorsements Experience operating machinery Turf, landscaping, civil or open-space experience Previous experience driving Class 2 trucks and assisting with labouring What’s on offer?
