Job Description Mó te tūranga | About the opportunity We're looking for a friendly and flexible assistant to join our fantastic Kitchen team. The Kitchen Assistant contributes to the quality of life of our residents by providing assistance in kitchen-related activities that provide quality food services to our residents. You will support the Head Chef / Kitchen Manager through kitchen and meal preparation including assembling and preparing ingredients, baking, cooking, toasting, and heating food items. You will also be responsible for keeping the kitchen and scullery areas clean, tidy, and safe. This is a Permanent Part -time Role (Monday & Tuesdays 09.00am - 3.00pm), with potential for extra shifts in the main Kitchen. Qualifications To tatou kaitono pai | What you bring Experience working within a commercial kitchen or similar environment Highly motivated, able to take initiative, and flexible.
