The Opportunity We're looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Cultured Foods team at our Longburn site and play a key role in leading a high‑performing production team. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll be responsible for delivering daily production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, yield and OEE. You'll lead and develop a team of approximately 33 people, creating an engaged and increasingly self‑directed workforce while driving continuous improvement across the production environment. Shift pattern: 8 week roster working 42 hours per weekWeek 1, 3, 5 and 7 is 0500 - 1416Week 2, 4, 6 and 8 is 1330 - 2315 What you will do Lead daily production operations to deliver safety, quality, output, yield and OEE targets. Lead, coach and develop a team of 33, building capability, engagement and accountability. Plan daily staffing, rosters and resources to meet production requirements. Monitor production schedules, identify issues and adjust workflows to keep production on track. Work closely with Quality, Maintenance and other teams to solve problems, improve processes and reduce waste. Ensure production, quality, SAP and operational documentation is completed accurately and on time. Support the operation of filling, packing and production equipment when required. Maintain strong quality and food safety standards, including RMP and legislative requirements. Champion a zero-harm safety culture, leading hazard identification, incident reporting and safety initiatives. Track and communicate key production and performance measures and drive corrective actions. Lead your team through change and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. What you will bring We're looking for a hands‑on people leader who enjoys working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and gets energy from developing others and delivering results. You will bring: Previous experience in food, beverage, dairy or FMCG manufacturing. Experience leading or supervising a production team. Strong people leadership, coaching and communication skills. A practical, hands‑on approach with experience working around manufacturing machinery and equipment. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast‑moving environment. High attention to detail with strong numeracy and literacy skills. A genuine commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement. A growth mindset, resilience and the ability to stay focused under pressure. The confidence to challenge, collaborate and bring your team along through change.
