Team Culture: We value a great team culture here at Cyclone! Job Purpose The Support Technician will work with Cyclone customers at various sites. You'll be installing, testing and deploying devices to end users while ensuring they are operational and meet organisational requirements. You'll help with troubleshooting and be required to keep accurate records of any issues and your technical steps. You’ll be the person our customers rely on to achieve a successful support outcome, so strong customer service skills are a requirement. You will play a key role in supporting our users and your colleagues by being part of a team that will create value for Cyclone by delivering customer-focused results. What you'll be doing: Helping with hardware setup and deployment Resolving service requests within assigned expectations Escalating complex queries to senior engineers, and working with them on resolution Managing the service and support of leased and purchased equipment What you will bring: Relevant technical certifications Experience handling computer hardware, and experience with installing and deploying technology An understanding of device network connectivity and associated troubleshooting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent relationship management skills Strong organisational skills and the proven ability to plan and prioritise your work Creativity with problem-solving and the ability to do so under time pressure A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Sufficient strength and fitness for physical labour About Cyclone: Cyclone is a New Zealand privately owned company with branch offices in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill.
