Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join our Te Awamutu Team. About the Role This is a hands-on role where you will fabricate, weld, and assemble steel fuel tanks and components to exact specifications using MIG welding and fabrication equipment. You will play an important role in delivering high-quality products that meet our industry-leading standards while working in a supportive and safety-focused team environment. Key Responsibilities MIG welding of steel components based on job specifications Fabrication and assembly of tank components using workshop machinery Interpreting engineering drawings and welding symbols accurately Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area Working collaboratively with other team members to meet production and quality targets Assisting with the preparation of completed products for painting or dispatch Requirements Proven MIG welding experience (preferably with steel) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication instructions Competency using workshop tools and fabrication machinery Good understanding of measurements and the ability to convert between metric and imperial units Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship Physically fit and capable of lifting and handling steel components A team-first attitude and a commitment to health and safety About You Works well independently and as part of a team Performs under pressure and meets deadlines Takes pride in high-quality workmanship Strong focus on health and safety Completes tasks accurately and on time Candidates need to have legal working rights to work in New Zealand. #J-18808-Ljbffr
