The Opportunity We're on the lookout for a creative, switched-on Social & Design Assistant to join the team on a contractor basis. No two days are the same in this role. You'll be out capturing content for clients one day and designing ads the next. If you love creating content that actually gets seen, working with real brands on real campaigns and being part of a team that genuinely cares about quality, this is the role for you. You'll be working four days a week (Tuesday to Friday), 28-32 hours, with a mix of in-office time at our Lower Hutt studio and the flexibility to work remotely. You'll also get out and about visiting clients across the Wellington region for content shoots, so a full driver's licence and your own wheels are a must. This is a fantastic opportunity for an emerging creative to build serious experience across social media, design and digital marketing, with a team that's invested in helping you grow. What You'll Be Getting Stuck Into Planning and capturing photo and video content for clients on location Creating eye-catching social media assets, graphics and short-form video content Writing captions and copy for multiple marketing channels Managing content calendars, client approvals and scheduling across Facebook, Instagram and other platforms Setting up and managing paid social campaigns on Meta Keeping files, content libraries and Asana tasks organised and on point Collaborating with the team to make sure everything goes out on time and looking great What We're Looking For A confident content creator, comfortable behind a camera and in the edit Strong design fundamentals: you understand layout, typography and brand consistency Skilled in Canva, Figma and/or Adobe tools Some exposure to Meta Ads (or a genuine eagerness to learn) Great at juggling multiple clients and deadlines without dropping the ball Comfortable dealing with clients in a professional and friendly way Full driver's licence and happy to travel locally for shoots Someone who takes pride in their work and always checks before hitting send 1-2 years experience in a similar role is a plus, but we are equally open to entry-level graduates who have the eye, the drive and the hunger to grow Oh, and did we mention the office is stocked with unlimited snacks and drinks?
