Waiariki Whanau Mentoring Limited – Whakatane, North Island The successful applicant will deliver safe and effective outreach immunisation services, build trusting relationships with whānau, tamariki and community partners, and provide clear and supportive immunisation education. You will help reduce barriers such as transport, access, hesitancy and mistrust, work independently while remaining connected to the wider clinical and hauora team, maintain accurate clinical records, vaccine documentation and reporting, follow standing orders, clinical policies, cold-chain requirements and professional nursing standards, and participate in community events, pop-up clinics and home-based outreach. Key responsibilities Deliver safe and effective outreach immunisation services Build trusting relationships with whānau, tamariki and community partners Provide clear and supportive immunisation education Help reduce barriers such as transport, access, hesitancy and mistrust Work independently while remaining connected to the wider clinical and hauora team Maintain accurate clinical records, vaccine documentation and reporting Follow standing orders, clinical policies, cold-chain requirements and professional nursing standards Participate in community events, pop-up clinics and home-based outreach About you A New Zealand Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate An authorised vaccinator, or willing to complete the required training Community-spirited and passionate about supporting whānau Self-driven, organised and able to manage your workload independently Confident engaging with whānau who may be hesitant or have experienced barriers to healthcare Culturally responsive and committed to working within a kaupapa Māori environment A strong communicator who works well with whānau, kaimahi and community organisations Flexible and willing to travel throughout the local community Committed to safe, respectful and whānau-centred practice A full New Zealand driver licence is required About us Waiariki Whānau Mentoring is seeking a confident and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Hauora team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
